1st Philippine Autocon to ‘reinvent car expos’

More than 120,000 people are expected to troop to the World Trade Center in Pasay City for the Philippine Autocon, envisioned to be the “very first automotive exhibit and the biggest car sale in the country.”

Slated from July 25 to 28, 2019, the Philippine Autocon is a spectacle organized by beepbeep.ph that “not only car enthusiasts will enjoy, but the entire family too.” The event presents a myriad of sights and experiences through a multi-day car and accessories exhibit—complemented by other exciting happenings such as a car auction, entertainment booths, and more.

Launched just last year, beepbeep.ph is a pioneering mobile app and website—the country’s first online destination, platform, and gateway to help improve the car ownership experience. Like the app itself, the event presents curated content of only the best and most reputable products, services, and suppliers in one destination.

There are two main highlights of the event. The first is a 40-car show featuring pimped-up vehicles by Bumper2Bumper that will bring in all sorts of decked-out vehicles, from sleek sports cars to giant monster trucks. Another thing to look forward to is the huge car sale led by Carmudi, where 200 cars will be ready to be driven by new owners and on top of that, 20 cars will also be up for auction, courtesy of HMR.

“What makes our event unique is that it presents both B2B and B2C opportunities for business owners, marketing and operations executives, enthusiasts, and the general public to learn best practices about, take stock of, discuss, and grow our automotive industry and its attached businesses,” says Anton Ojeda, founder and CEO of beepbeep.ph.

Along with car displays and a car auction are after-market selling booths and exhibits on maintenance and mechanical repair; body repair, paint, and wraps; wheels and tires; and other services and products. Amazing deals and discounts are also up for grabs from brands like Tow & Stow Industries and Line-X.

There will also be a die-cast car display from Ban Kee Trading, a Drift Box course, a PVP area from Attack Arena, a car simulator from Atoy Customs, and other exciting activities for all ages. “We believe that everyone in the family will find something interesting at The Philippine Autocon 2019,” stressed the beepbeep.ph head. In addition, attendees of the event can have free access to the high-speed internet provided by PLDT.

The Philippine Autocon will also be a foodie destination. Several food trucks from the Philippine Mobile Food Truck Association are set to satisfy cravings of event goers as Ser Chef, Soul Food, Mio Gelato, Hungry Chef, Schmidts Hotdogs, Great Burger, Bag Wings, and Q Grill are all expected to deliver the goods.
