7th Transport and Logistics Philippines runs until Aug 17

Global-Link MP Events International, Inc. kicked off the seventh year of the Transport & Logistics Philippines which runs from August 15 to 17 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Key figures from the transport and logistics sector attended the opening ceremonies. They were led by Philippine Multimodal Transportation and Logistics Association president Marilyn Alberto, Procurement and Supply Institute of Asia (PASIA) and Transprocure president and CEO of Charlie Villaseñor, Management Services Department of the Philippine International Trading Corporation officer-in-charge Josefina “Jo” Batin-Ocampo (representing Usec. Dave Almarinez, president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corp.), Metro Manila Development Authority deputy chairman Usec. Frisco San Juan Jr., Undersecretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure of the Department of Transportation Mark Richmund De Leon, Global Link MP Events International CEO Patrick Lawrence Tan, HVAC/R Philippines chairman Engr. During his speech, Patrick Lawrence Tan underscored the importance of the exposition. “One of the greatest challenges in addressing our market demands is not only looking for efficient distribution channels but supporting your business with cost-effective solutions and technologies,” he said.

We are expecting to see over 10,000 trade buyers in three days – the biggest turnout in its history – making this the biggest and most important event of the industry,” Tan said.

The expo will run until August 17 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Entrance is free while seminars are subject to fees.
