Fuel prices set to go down

Motorists can expect another round of oil price rollbacks this week.

According to a report by The STAR, Phoenix Petroleum said it cut the price of its gasoline products by P1.75 per liter and diesel by P1.05 last Saturday.

Unioil Petroleum Philippines is set to reduce its pump prices – diesel by P1.05 to P1.10 per liter, gasoline by P1.60 to P1.70 per liter – by Tuesday. Pilipinas Shell will slash its fuel prices effective 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

Gas prices will be reduced by P1.70, kerosene by P1, and diesel by P1.05. The expected price reduction on diesel and gasoline products next week comes after another price rollback, which reduced the prices of gasoline by P0.35 per liter and diesel by P0.45 per lite — With reporting from Danessa Rivera and Kap Maceda Aguila/The STAR
