The Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) is set to implement toll adjustments beginning next week.
According to the NLEX Corporation, the Toll Regulatory Board approved a P0.51/km toll rate adjustment for the 94-km SCTEX beginning 12:01 a.m. on June 14.
Class 1 vehicles crossing Mabalacat City to Tarlac will have to pay an additional P20, raising the toll fee from P104 to P124.
Class 2 vehicles such as buses will pay an extra P40, while large vehicles under Class 3 will be charged an additional P60, totalling to P248 and P372, respectively.
Meanwhile, Class 1 vehicles crossing Mabalacat and Tipo in Subic will have to pay an additional P32, totalling to P227.
Class 2 vehicles traversing the same route will have to pay an extra P66 while Class 3 will be charged an additional P98, totalling to P467 and P680, respectively.
The petition for the toll adjustment was filed by the BCDA in 2011.
