13th Manila Auto Salon, 25th Sport Truck Show and Tacs Expo slated this weekend

The Philippine automotive aftermarket takes center stage as two of the most-awaited motoring events – the 13th Manila Auto Salon and the 25th Sport Truck Show — go live this November 14 to 17 at the SMX Convention Center at SM Mall of Asia, back to back with the Tactical, Survival and Arms Expo of Armscor Global Defense, Inc.

There will be over 200 show-stopping vehicles for display and competition. Organized by the leading motoring events production company, Tradeshow International Inc., this event is the most comprehensive motor show for customized vehicles, performance cars, sport utility vehicles, 4x4s, off-roaders with a retail section for products and services. 

Both events will occupy all four trade halls of SMX so expect to be walking through 9,000 square meters of “show vehicles” and automotive product treats perfect for Christmas shopping for the car lovers. The Tacs Expo will have its usual LTOPF Caravan — a one-stop-shop for firearms ownership licensing and renewal.

The major highlight of the motoring event is the competition for six Best of Show title awards namely, Custom Car, Tuner Car and Extreme Custom Car for Manila Auto Salon, and Sport Truck, Sport Utility Vehicle and Extreme Sport Truck for the Sport Truck Show. Current titleholders of these Best of Show awards are JWorks Unlimited for the 2018 Lexus LC (Custom Car), Import Hookup/Nasiol Phils. for the 2018 Porsche Turbo S (Extreme Custom Car), Ridemax/North Side Automotive Services/Team Rudemax for the 2007 Nissan Patrol SS (SUV), Toughdog PH/Dr. G’s Car Clinic  for the 1991 Toyota LN111 (Sport Truck) and Ridemax Philippines/Autobot Off-Road for the 2017 Toyota Hilux Revo (Reserve Best of Show (Sport Truck).

The major highlights of the Tacs Expo are the Gun Show, the LTOPF One-Stop-Shop Caravan , the free Seminar Series and the Activity Center featuring Archery, Knife-Throwing among others.
