Since Chery came under the distributorship of United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) in October 2019, dealer expansion has been one of the brand’s top priorities. A mere three months after the contract signing, and in just the first month of 2020, Chery Auto Philippines has begun sales operations throughout Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“To support the growth of our new business in the Philippines, we are proud to announce the inauguration of fifteen new dealerships across the country, welcoming many new Chery customers nationwide,” said UAAGI president Rommel Sytin.
For Metro Manila, Chery tapped the areas of North EDSA, Pasig, Pasong Tamo in Makati and Alabang in Muntinlupa. The brand also kicked off sales in provincial areas in Luzon such as Cainta, Rizal; Marilao, Bulacan; Bauang, La Union; Bacoor, Cavite; and GMA Cavite. Of course, Chery will also be present down south through its dealerships in Iloilo; Talisay, Cebu; General Santos; Davao City; Tagum, Davao; and Cagayan De Oro.

Underscoring the new dealers’ trust in the Chery brand is the fact that none of the dealerships are new to the business. All current Chery dealers are multi-brand operations and, combined, have over 50 years of automotive experience and employ more than 1,000 employees handling the Chery brand.
These multi-brand dealers include some of the most illustrious and experienced dealership groups and principals in the automotive industry like A & B United Corporation, Absolute Advantage, Inc., Autohub Group, Alphamile Automotive Dealers, Inc., Autoperfection, Inc., Frontier Automotive of Chiongbian Group, Gateway Group, LICA Group, Magnet Motors, and San Juan Group among other dealership heavyweights.
The rapid acceptance of Chery by multi-brand dealerships is a testament to their trust and confidence in this resurgent Chinese brand and its modern, stylish, highly equipped, and very affordable crossover models, as well as the growth and foreseeable potential of the Chery brand and the very capable team at UAAGI behind it.

Each Chery dealership will be fully equipped to amplify the aftersales offerings of Chery Auto Philippines, including parts, service, customer relations, and financing programs. This will ensure easier access to these stylish, value-packed crossovers.

As a huge investment in the pipeline, the return of Chery and its dealer expansion will certainly generate more jobs in the future,” noted Chery Cagayan De Oro dealer principal Roger Chiu.
In terms of aftersales services, Chery also leads the industry with its longest-ever 10-year/one million-km engine warranty, five-year general vehicle warranty, and three-year free PMS promo package.

Chery Auto Philippines plans to establish a total of 25 dealerships across the Philippines within the next three years.
