In a release, the agency said that the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board and the Land Transportation Office issued the show cause order to the operator of the MSJ Tours as well as to the driver of the bus involved in the incident.

Prior to this, two public utility buses were also caught recklessly driving along the EDSA Busway. According to the DOTr, the drivers of the Jaan Jesh Transport bus (CAP 5133) and Roval Transport (NDQ2621) appeared before the LTO’s hearing earlier today.

The agency said that it will not hesitate to impose the same appropriate sanctions to the operator and driver of the MSJ Tours.

“Let this serve as a warning to all our road transport partners that the DOTr, LTRB and LTO will never tolerate this irresponsible and reckless manner of driving by authorized PUBs which poses a danger to life and possible damage to property,” it said.
