Isuzu launches D-Max Boondock

If you are on the lookout for a pickup that could blaze through the most punishing terrains in the country then you’re quite in luck, because Isuzu just launched its newest offering – the all-new D-Max Boondock.

During the Isuzu Dealer Open House in Sta. Rosa Laguna, Isuzu Philippines Corporation unveiled the new look of the D-Max Boondock that flexes a striking myriad of upgrades.

The cockpit features an 8-inch, full-touch monitor.

The newest offering of Isuzu sports a new and aggressive look infused with a series of premium features such as monotube nitrogen-charged performance shock absorbers, specifically designed for difficult terrain, paired with Yokohama Geolandar GO15 tires with black alloy wheels for better handling and traction.

Aside from that, the all-new D-Max Boondock features black roof rails, cargo bed extender, over fender, rocker panel, a Boondock logo in the back and a steel honeycomb side step that also features Isuzu’s Boondock logo.

Under the hood of the D-Max Boondock is a 3.0-liter 4JT1 turbo-diesel engine that generates 177ps at 3,600rpm and 380Nm of torque.

It is mated with either a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift or six-speed manual transmission with gearshift indicator.

The automatic variant is priced at P1,455,000 while the manual version retails for P1,390,000.

The new Isuzu D-Max Boondock comes in two colors – Galena Gray and Cosmic Black.
