Mazda holds 2018 Zoomfest in High Street

Last weekend, Mazda Philippines held its annual Zoomfest event at the Bonifacio High Street grounds in BGC. It was a public event that seized the opportunity to display all of Mazda’s latest offerings in the market, and was likewise a perfect chance for interested customers to test drive any Mazda vehicle that has been the apple of their eye.

Among the interesting new variants that were displayed in this year’s Mazda Zoomfest were the Java variant of the Mazda 2, which comes in a special color with burgundy accents; the MX-5 that comes with a soft-top in cherry red; and the awesome, new CX-9 FWD that comes with the same engine as the top-of-the-line CX-9, but costs roughly P500,000 less for dropping the AWD and just a few other features.

Also available to interested participants were short and intimate presentations about the Mazda philosophy of Jinba Ittai — “car and driver as one” — conducted by Mazda Philippines managers who underwent a 2-week training in Japan regarding the philosophy behind its engineering.

Customers who decided to place a vehicle reservation on-site — with a minimum P5,000 deposit — got a chance to participate in the “Pick a Prize” raffle, which offered prizes that ranged from Shell fuel vouchers to cash discounts of up to P100,000 off the price tag of the vehicle they are buying. These cash discounts were quite a highlight, as they were still applicable on top of the other existing sales promotions.

Moreover, customers also had the chance to get themselves special, Mazda collection t-shirts. And families who came with children also had the opportunity to enjoy playing a driving video game within the event premises. Giveaways in the form of note pads, pens and specially designed drawstring bags were also provided for curious visitors who signed up for a vehicle test-drive.

And adding to the splendor, all six Mazda Philippines-accredited car clubs, namely: the Miata Club Philippines; Club Mazda PH; Mazdatech Phils.; Mazda2ners; Mazda 3 Skyactiv Club; and the CX-5 Club Pilipinas showed their full support by gracing the event and displaying their beloved cars around the event premises.

All this love and support from the local Mazda community is testament to the special kind of relationship the brand is known for keeping with its customers — because clearly, what glues them all together is that playful desire for a little zoom-zoom!
