MG launches MG 6 Fastback

Morris Garages, abbreviated as simply ‘MG’, is officially a new player in the Philippine automotive market, and its vehicles are imported and distributed locally by The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCI). MG Philippines took the opportunity to join the country’s largest automotive trade show, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) in order to stand abreast other top international car brands, and to showcase its stable of locally available vehicles, which include the MG ZS crossover SUV and the RX5 compact SUV.

MG Philippines also chose the 2019 MIAS as a launch platform for the revelation of its sleek, new fastback sedan, the MG 6.

The MG 6 is a compact sedan that promises sport-luxury dynamics alongside good ride comfort. It’s powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that spits out 164hp and 250Nm of torque and is mated to a seven-speed automatic. It also comes equipped with a suite of modern safety technologies such as Cornering Brake Control, Electronic Brake Distribution, Hill Start Assist and Traction Control.
