MMPC extends assistance to Santa Rosa City LGU amid lockdown

As a way of helping the frontliners in the battle against COVID-19, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) extended its assistance to the local government of Santa Rosa City, Laguna by lending two units of L300.

The L300 units, which handed over to Santa Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas, will be utilized as a shuttle service for the frontliners to and from their respective destinations within the boundaries of the city during the period of the enhanced community quarantine. Each unit will be allowed to carry a maximum of 10 passengers, including the driver, in compliance with the social distancing guidelines. 

In her message, Arcillas thanked the MMPC for its assistance during the health crisis.

“We truly appreciate all the help and support of MMPC to the City of Santa Rosa not only now but ever since the Corporation has chosen the City to be their home,” Arcillas said. 

For his part, MMPC President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri expressed his gratitude to the city’s frontliners for their sacrifices amid the pandemic.

“Mitsubishi Motors Philippines is one with the city government of Santa Rosa in the fight against this virus. We our deeply thankful and grateful for all the sacrifice being done by our frontliners to keep this wonderful city safe. We will remain your partner in these trying times,” Oshikiri said.

With the extension of the enhanced community quarantine, MMPC said that it will also extend the lend out of the units.
