Chery March exports grow 8.4% MoM

In March, Chery exported 8,860 units including the Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7, and Tiggo 5x crossovers and the Arrizo 6 sedan, growing by 11.2 percent, MoM. In January to March this year, Chery exported 26,503 units in total.

At present, Chery has 12 knocked-down (KD) factories and sales/service networks consisting of 1,500 overseas dealers. While focusing on pandemic control and return to work in China, Chery is making utmost efforts to secure its export and overseas operations.

Since February 10, Chery started to return to work step by step, with overseas CKD production as one of the earliest production units to return to work. When the pandemic started to spread in its overseas markets at the end of February, Chery donated more than 700,000 pieces of medical supplies, including N95 masks, disposable medical masks, medical gloves and protective clothing, to its overseas partners in over 20 countries.

In the early stage of the pandemic, some overseas countries lacked experience in diagnosing and treating COVID-19. Chery used its contacts to help local hospitals establish relations with designated hospitals in China, provide remote diagnosis and therapy inquiry and join the overseas partners to overcome the difficulties and live through the pandemic.
