‘Biyahe ng Bayani’ goes to Hyundai Baguio

As part of its COVID-19 response campaign ‘Biyahe ng Bayani’, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc., through its CSR arm H.A.R.I. Foundation, Inc. (HFI), partnered with the newly-minted Hyundai Baguio dealership to provide transportation for medical frontliners in the country’s summer capital.

The company said that Hyundai Baguio dealer principal Archimedes Go closely coordinated with HFI to drive up the expansive Hyundai H350 van to provide free transport to Department of Health (DOH) health workers.

In a statement, HARI and HFI president Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said that “there is no better way to thank our health workers than to protect them and rally them onward in their noble mission of serving the Filipino.”

“Our hearts go out to our heroic front liners,” she affirmed.

Biyahe ng Bayani has been providing staunch mobility support to medical frontliners, ranging from free transport to the delivery of critical supplies, such as personal protective equipment (PPEs), to partner health institutions in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon.

Agudo reiterateed that HFI continues to closely monitor the country’s COVID situation and has identified more areas of engagement for Biyahe ng Bayani.

The Baguio City local government foresees a gradual transition from an extended enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to general community quarantine (GCQ) starting May 15. As of May 9, 2020, the DOH reports 30 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 60% recovery.
