FOTON turns over Toano COVID19 ambulance fleet to PH Red Cross

FOTON Philippines recently turned over six units of the Toano negative pressure ambulance to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to aid in the safe transport of patients during the pandemic. This is the first fleet of negative pressure ambulances in the country.

Also known as the “mobile N95 solution,” the FOTON Toano negative pressure ambulance isolates the patient from the vehicle cabin, thus preventing the spread of the infection from the patient to the medical team in the ambulance.

With a length of close to six meters and height of 1.7 meters, the FOTON Toano is equipped with a full set of rescue equipment including a ventilator, defibrillator, electro cardiogram (ECG) monitor, ultraviolet disinfection lamp, and central oxygen supply interface.

“As the virus continues to spread the demand for professional ambulance equipment in the Philippines has started to increase and we are here to provide the solution for your medical mobility needs,” shares Rommel Sytin, president of United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), the exclusive distributor of FOTON vehicles in the Philippines.

Apart from the PRC, FOTON has provided ambulances to different government units. Regular ambulance units are also available for sale in any of FOTON Philippines’ 29 dealerships nationwide.
