Two people were hurt after an L300 van collided with the sport utility vehicle of actor Ken Chan in Quezon City on Wednesday.
According to an investigation, the incident occurred when the Mitsubishi Montero of Chan was rear-ended by an L300 van at the intersection of Timog Avenue and Panay Avenue in Brgy. South Triangle in Quezon City.
The driver of the van, identified as Benjamin Muyrong Jr. and another passenger were immediately rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center.
Rescue personnel had to extract the driver from the vehicle due to the impact of the accident while his companion also sustained injuries.
Meanwhile, Chan said that he suddenly heard a loud noise from the back and realized later on that an L300 van crashed against his vehicle.
