The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the implementation of the truck ban will resume beginning next week.
MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago said that trucks will be prohibited from plying EDSA, C-5 and other major thoroughfares in Metro Manila from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday starting December 14.
The implementation of the truck ban has been suspended during the community quarantine.
The unified vehicular volume reduction program, meanwhile, remains suspended.
