Grab Philippines and the local government of Makati on Wednesday launched their own vaccination center to inoculate up to 7,000 economic frontliners.
In a press release, the ride-hailing company said that the Grab–Makati Vaccination Center aims to provide an additional channel for economic frontliners to get vaccinated.
“Vaccinating our economic frontliners requires a concerted effort from both the City Government of Makati as well as our community stakeholders, and this strategic partnership with Grab Philippines will truly help accelerate the inoculation of our economic frontliners,” Makati Mayor Abby Binay said.
“By getting more economic frontliners inoculated, we are helping protect the lives of many economic frontliners, and supporting many businesses to recover and thrive,” said,” she added.
Located in Wilcon IT Hub in Chino Roces Makati, the Grab–Makati Vaccination Center will operate from Monday to Saturday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and can vaccinate up to 400 economic frontliners per day.
The Grab–Makati Vaccination Center will strictly cater to all vaccinees who have received their official confirmation from the City Government of Makati. Those who would like to register for a scheduled vaccination in Grab-Makati Vaccination Center, may visit this link.
The Makati City Government has equipped the Grab–Makati Vaccination Center with 14,000 vaccines, while AC Health will be administering the vaccination onsite.
“The Grab–Makati Vaccination Center ladders up to Grab Philippines’ broader GrabBayanihan Vaccination Support Program which aims to increase vaccine access and education by leveraging its platform, technology, and network,” Grab said.
