Isuzu Philippines updated the mu-X for 2024 by giving it some tech upgrades to keep up with the competition, without any price adjustments.
First is the arrival of the Around View Monitor or their 360-degree camera system. With four cameras around the car, this makes parking in tight spaces or maneuvering in slim streets a cinch. This is taken further by the Digital Video Recorder system that can store up to 11 hours of footage on a 64gb microSD card. It makes use of the mu-X’s four cameras around the car further enhancing the SUV’s safety feature.
For convenience, there’s now a new combo for entertainment while driving. The mu-X now has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, removing the need for cables in order to connect with the 10.1-inch touchscreen. They’ve also added a wireless charger for a total cable-free experience while driving.
The mu-X is still powered by the same 4JJ3-TCX 3-liter Blue Power diesel engine that makes 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic.
These recent additions will surely be seen in the LS-E variants, especially since it’s the only trim that has the Advanced Driver Assist System before. It’s still unsure if the LS-A will get even just the additions in the infotainment system.
There’s no price adjustment for the 2024 Isuzu mu-X following the new features. They are still priced as follows:
LS-E AT 4×4: PHP 2,530,000
LS-E AT 4×2: PHP 2,180,000
LS-A AT 3.0 4×2: PHP 1,970,000
LS-A AT RZ4E 4×2: PHP 1,840,000
LS RZ4E 4×2: PHP 1,675,000
