Vespa has officially launched its latest model, the Vespa Sprint Tech, in the Philippines. It joins Vespa’s lineup of stylish scooters, distributed by the Autohub Group, marking the introduction of a two-wheeler that blends the brand’s signature classic aesthetics with advanced technology.
The Sprint Tech maintains Vespa’s distinctive vintage styling while integrating modern features to enhance urban mobility. According to Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten, the new model represents a step forward in convenience and performance.

“The New Vespa Sprint Tech is a game-changer in urban mobility by seamlessly blending classic Vespa aesthetics with unparalleled performance. It embodies the spirit of freedom and innovation that has defined Vespa for generations,” Tee Ten said.
The Vespa Sprint Tech comes in three new color options—black, warm grey, and fluo-green—adding a modern flair to its already timeless look. One of its standout design updates include new lights on both sides of the leg shield back plate, activated by the ‘Bike Finder’ function, making it easier to locate in crowded areas.
The biggest leap in technology comes with its new 5-inch full-color TFT dashboard, available in both day and night modes. This display integrates with the Vespa app and Vespa MIA system, allowing riders to sync their smartphones for added functionality. The system displays notifications for phone calls, messages, and even social media updates. Music management and turn-by-turn GPS navigation are also integrated into the dashboard, making rides more interactive and efficient.

For the first time in the Sprint range, Vespa introduces a keyless system, allowing riders to start, lock, and unlock the scooter without taking the key fob out of their pocket. This adds a layer of convenience, especially for those constantly on the go. The key fob also enables remote seat unlocking and activates the ‘Bike Finder’ feature, which flashes the turn signals to help identify the scooter in a parking lot.
The navigation system is another new feature, designed to improve the riding experience. Once a destination is set in the Vespa app, navigation instructions appear directly on the dashboard, displaying estimated arrival time, route details, and alternate paths. Riders can start or stop navigation and select recent destinations through the dashboard interface.
The Vespa Sprint Tech 150 runs on a 155-cc 3-valve, 4-stroke single-cylinder i-get engine with electronic fuel injection. It produces 8.9 kW at 7,250 rpm and 12.7 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm, delivering a smooth and efficient ride. The scooter features CVT automatic transmission, front disc brakes with ABS, and rear drum brakes for added safety.
Vespa has priced the Sprint Tech at PHP 275,000, targeting riders who seek a mix of style, performance, and smart technology in their daily commute.
