(WHEELS.PH EXCLUSIVE) The Auto Nation Group, in partnership with Philippine Airlines, sent a group of lady pilots to Sepang, Malaysia for the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience (MBDE) where they got to test-drive numerous Mercedes-Benz vehicles – especially those in its AMG performance line-up.  For this MBDE leg, Auto Nation Group opted to fly in lady pilots in line with the flagship airline’s women empowerment campaign.

The Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience is a bi-annual regional event wherein participating countries and their representatives get to experience what it is like to drive performance vehicles on the track. MBDE offers an opportunity for a unique experience that brings together the key aspects of safety training, along with the thrill of dynamic driving. It also served as a venue to improve driving skills through the program’s practical sessions and hands-on exercises. Some of the exercises include slalom, braking, double-lane change and emergency maneuvers on a variety of road- and tire-friction coefficients.

This year’s Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience offered a glance to the dynamic range of performance vehicles by the three-pointed star brand. Some of the vehicles that hit the tracks were:

•   C200 Coupe

•   C300 Coupe

•   C300

•   CLS450

•   CLS350

•   AMG C43

•   AMG GLA 45

•   AMG GLC 63

•   AMG GLC 43
