As part of its worldwide initiative amid the pandemic, German oil specialist Liqui Moly, in cooperation with its Philippine distributor, European Advanced Technik Corporation, donated engine oil products to various frontliner groups in the country.
Liqui Moly GMBH managing director Ernst Prost said that the donation is their way of showing appreciation to frontliners who risk their lives amid the health crisis. It all started out as a one million Euro initiative but due to the strong worldwide response, Prost decided to increase the donation to four million Euros.
“We want to help hospitals, rescue services and fire brigades with free products to be ready for action. A good deed which has been accepted incredibly well, up to now, we have almost 1500 shipments to make…most of them, we will definitely be completed this and next week,” Prost said.
“After only a few days, I realize what a gigantic avalanche I kicked off. I didn’t know that we (thank God) have so many first responder vehicles and hospitals in Germany. We’ll just add an additional two million Euro of free products to those who are looking out for our health and lives! Who wants to be stuck on the open road on the way to the hospital, just because the engine died?” Prost added.
The products for frontliners will be available in partner car manufacturers, dealers and independent workshop.
