Kia Philippines’ latest subcompact SUV offering – the Stonic – will finally make its way to the local market this October.
First unveiled in Frankfurt Motorshow in 2017, the Kia Stonic features smooth surfaces interspersed with geometric shapes that exude a fun and youthful vibe. The design is paired with projector-type halogen headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights that provide a sleek appearance while enhancing visibility.
The subcompact SUV also features an array of driving assist features including rear parking sensors, reverse camera, stability control, and hill start assist. Apart from that, it also sports a touchscreen infotainment system that is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ready for easy connectivity while a plethora of storage spaces can store various items securely.
Although the Kia Stonic is new to the Philippine market, it has already garnered several awards abroad. The Stonic’s lines have been recognized by iF Design and Red Dot, both of which were awarded in 2018.
“The all-new Kia Stonic is set to change the subcompact SUV game with its youthful styling and impressive list of tech and safety features,” Kia Philippines president Manny Aligada said.
“Its award-winning design should likewise appeal to young buyers looking for a feature-packed crossover that is as trendy as their modern lifestyle,” he added.
