Back then, MPVs were considered as the boring sibling of the more prestigious looking SUV. They’re the go-to vehicle of growing families because apart from providing the much needed space, MPVs are also economical.
However, when various vehicle companies started introducing stylish MPVs in a bid to expand the market of the vehicle segment, the status quo changed and demand for MPVs immediately rose.
That’s why when Mitsubishi launched the Xpander in 2018, it immediately received warm acceptance from the market and became one of its best-selling offerings.
Last March, Mitsubishi Motors Philippine Corporation introduced the Xpander Cross variant that further pushed the nameplate to the sportier side. The Cross received upgrades in both aesthetics and performance while keeping all the best traits intact.
The Xpander Cross has a spacious cabin that can accommodate up to seven adults complemented with versatile seats that can be configured in various settings.
There’s also a 7-inch infotainment system, audio mounted controls, and power outlets in the front/middle/rear rows and ample storage space for loose items.
The exterior, meanwhile, features LED headlights, protective lower bumpers skid plate that is complemented by sporty roof rails, 17-inch dark alloy rims, black wheel arch molding with black side body garnish, class-leading 225mm ground clearance, combined with a special tuned suspension.
The Xpander Cross has a price tag of P1,255,000 and currently included in the Mitsubishi Motor Head Start Promo where customers can avail of free 2-month amortization with a low down payment scheme. The promo is also offered to the GLX plus/AT and GLS/AT Xpander variants.
