SEAOIL continues expansion plans, opens 500th station

SEAOIL, the leading independent fuel company in the country, announced that it is on-track to meet its 2020 expansion plans as it opened its 500th station, located along Meralco Avenue in San Antonio, Pasig City.

Beating the wider business downturn resulting from the pandemic, SEAOIL has remained aggressive in growing its retail network this year. Prior to its 500th station, it also opened new stations in Quezon City, Batangas, Mindoro, Pampanga, Cabanatuan, Abra, Compostela Valley, Iloilo, Aklan, Cotabato and Davao. In 2017, the fuel company built its biggest branch to date, the SEAOIL-CityMall Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) mega station, and opened its 400th station in 2018.

“The opening of our 500th station is part of our goal to fuel a better future in every community and every neighborhood that we are in,” said Glenn Yu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), SEAOIL. “This milestone brings us closer to our goal of having 600 stations nationwide by the end of this year.”

Its focused efforts to widen its footprint also strengthens SEAOIL’s commitment to #FuelPHtoRecovery and support the Philippines as it bounces back from the COVID-19 pandemic. With the opening of more stations, SEAOIL aims to generate local jobs, provide business for new franchise partners, and offer specialized promotions to serve the communities they operate in.

SEAOIL had earlier earmarked Php 10 million to support the country’s efforts to fight COVID-19, offering free fuel and discounts to support frontliners from hospitals, local government units, and transport groups.
