MG’s operations have expanded in the UK with the opening of the new Advanced London Design Studio, located in the heart of London, along Marylebone Road. This new creative space is where MG’s modern designs come to life, where concepts in the future of mobility are explored, and where young design talent is discovered and nurtured.
The Advanced London Design Studio benefits from being situated in a city with an internationally established design culture, as its location serves as a natural source of inspiration for designers and creative minds as they explore innovative concepts and future production projets.
“Over the past six years we have formed strong relationships with many pioneering institutions, and the opening of the Advanced London Design Studio will help us further our commitment to growing talent by placing us firmly in the heart of one the globe’s design destinations,” says Carl Gotham, SAIC Design—European Advanced Design Director Carl Gotham.
The Advanced London Design Studio also spearheads the SAIC Design Challenge in Europe: an annual competition that brings together the freshest minds in the European design sector. “We will continue to search for the best creative talent and we hope that, through the internationalized platform built by SAIC, the designers will flourish and grow within the design industry. Creative energy, high potential, ambition, and dreams will encourage them to become future design industry stars,” says Gotham.
