Finding the right truck to help move commercial operations is serious business.  What compounds this task of selecting even more is a roster of choices available to you.  From light to medium and heavy-duty types, 4 to 6 up to 10 and 12-wheelers, and not to mention a multitude of body applications available, trucks are in abundance in every size, shape, and form.

With Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles in the Philippines, you’re in luck, because you’ve got a partner with a versatile line-up of trucks for various business mobility requirements. Enter the HD65, a Hard-workingly Dependable vehicle loaded with features and capabilities that help boost your enterprise’s daily stamina to meet the rigors of work and likewise, your customers’ demands.

Hard-bodied for the hard-working entrepreneur

Tough as these times may be, the Hyundai HD65 works just as tough to keep up with a hard-working entrepreneur like you.  Engineered to make light work of heavy duties, this hardy vehicle is built with heat-treated, web-strengthened, ultra-rigid super frame that provides the chassis basis for superior performance and safety of all Hyundai HD trucks.  The steel frame is made extra strong with crossmembers and new bolt-type fasteners, which combine to improve resistance to frame twisting and flexing, and thus, impeding the acceleration of wear and tear.  The flexible and variable design of the wheelbase lets you choose the right vehicle for your business, enabling you more efficiency, and operational agility to improve productivity and profitability.

What’s more, you would appreciate the suspension resilience in the HD65, which has been optimized through the proven strength and stability of leaf springs with advanced shock-absorbing technology.  The application of rigid cab suspension helps to significantly reduce vibration, thus, allowing this hardy truck to deliver a smooth and stable ride to meet the rigors of day-to-day operations.

When it comes to power, the HD65 comes equipped with full power from a Euro 4 D4GA direct-injection diesel engine with turbocharger.  Mated to a 5-speed manual transmission system, this engine generates maximum power output of 150 ps @ 2,500 rpm and maximum torque of 59 kg-m @ 1,400 rpm. All within a highly efficient engine operation that optimally churns generous power at minimal fuel consumption.

Dependable safety and easy maintenance within reach

Hyundai has taken careful consideration of elevating the safety profile of the HD65 to a level that meets your expectations of a trustworthy and confident truck.  For starters, its braking system is commendable, thanks to large size brake linings and tandem brake boosters that deliver consistent braking power.  A load-sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) adds a layer of dependability, as it helps the vehicle adjust weight distribution accordingly depending on the load, to keep the truck steady and secure while running.  In addition, the HD65 is fitted with Multi Focus Reflection (MFR) headlamps, which offer increased visibility on the road.  Occupant safety is likewise enhanced through 3-point ELR seatbelts for driver and passenger, and aluminum safety steps that feature a toothed gate-type finish to prevent slipping during cabin entry and exit.

Servicing and maintenance for the HD65 is now easier than ever, thanks to the 50-degree tilting cab feature that provides quick and easy access to the engine compartment.  Other routine maintenance checks involving fluid levels come easy with the truck’s advanced integrated fuel filter that requires service at 20,000 km intervals, contributing to greater peace of mind and even greater savings for your operations.  Hyundai HD series also give you the convenience of proactively checking fluid levels, fuses, and replacement bulbs through added utilities such as air cleaner, fuse box, radiator reservoir tank, tool box, washer tank, and water separator filter.

A Partner in Every Way

The Hyundai HD65 comes evidently versatile with various upper body customizations available, such as aluminum van, refrigerated van, dump truck, dropside truck for construction work, wing van, and even special customizations for various needs.

Recently, HARI, through their dealership Hyundai Trucks and Buses Commonwealth, helped to provide assistance to the Korean and Australian Embassies in their donation of Hyundai HD65 food trucks to the Philippine Red Cross to help mobilize disaster and emergency response initiatives.  These, in concert with HARI’s ongoing campaigns and partnerships with local government and private sector toward promoting economic recovery, add credence to the brand’s commitment to quality and reliability as a mobility solutions partner of the Filipino entrepreneur and the nation, overall.

To this, HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, is confident of the Filipino’s continuing trust in the Hyundai brand in helping to optimize the country’s economic potential.  “We are grateful for the support that we’re receiving from government and private sectors that see our line-up of commercial vehicles as key to moving their programs in the hope of a better normal,” Agudo stated, adding, “And in response, we, at Hyundai Trucks and Buses Philippines, shall continue our mission to be a partner in every way, through durable, versatile, and affordable commercial vehicles backed by excellent service, so that our kababayans can focus on what’s truly important—rebuilding the economy and enriching lives.”
