Aston Martin DBX is finally available in the Philippines

Aston Martin Manila finally unveiled the new DBX – the brand’s first luxury SUV and the first to roll off their new production facility in St. Athan, Wales. It’s built with an all-new architecture, has a 4-liter V8 and an all-wheel drive system making it literally go where no Aston Martin has gone before.

The new DBX retains the Aston Martin aesthetic by not implementing claddings on the body. Instead it has gloss panels for the lower side of its bumpers and on the sides to accentuate its form. Signature Aston Martin touches are present in the exterior like the satin chrome DB front grille, light air duct with daytime running lights, and rear light blade. There’s a panoramic sunroof, frameless door glass, and 22-inch wheels with Pirelli PZero tires carry the car with adaptive triple volume air suspension that adjusts the car’s height by +45mm/-50mm.

Inside is a luxurious interior designed to lead your eyes towards the 10.25-inch touchscreen display. It has Apple CarPlay as standard, and is accompanied by a 14-speaker Aston Martin Premium Audio System. There’s also a 12.3-inch full digital display infront of the driver, a 64-color ambient lighting, and 360-degree camera view for the driver. The rear seats can be folded 40:20:40 for added versatility in case the 632-liter cargo space isn’t enough for you.

Powering the new DBX is a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 that puts out 542hp and 700Nm of torque. Together with the 9-speed automatic, it can go from 0-100kph in 4.5 secs. The engine also has cylinder deactivation to enhance fuel economy when you’re not reaching redlines.

It also has 6 driving modes, an all-wheel drive with active central differential and electronic rear limited slip differential, 48V anti-roll control system and electronic adaptive dampers. All in all, Aston Martin ensured that despite its bigger and taller nature, the DBX performs and handles just as well as their iconic sports cars.

A full suite of safety features come standard for the DBX. This includes electronic parking brake with auto brake hold, stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, and rear cross traffic warning among others.

There’s also optional accessory packages available like the Pet package that includes portable washer for your dogs, or the Snow package that has boot warmers. On top of this, Aston Martin Manila offers ‘Q by Aston Martin’ which allows customers to personalize their vehicle.

The first SUV by Aston Martin is priced at P24,500,000.
