Driven by the competitive product lineup, first-in-the-industry aftersales services, and its rapidly expanding dealership network, vehicle sales of CHERY Auto Philippines skyrocketed by a stunning 351 percent in the first six months of 2021 compared to the same period last year.
Reflecting the consistency in the brand’s performance, its June sales this year also shot up by an almost-similar 355 percent compared to June last year.
The growth reflects the warm reception of the Philippine market towards the all-new CHERY Tiggo 7 PRO. Showing one-third (37%) of total CHERY sales in the first six months of the year. Launched just last January, the Tiggo 7 Pro posted June sales 160 percent higher than the previous month of May. Orders for July onwards project continuous sustained demand for the head-turning, high-performance turbocharged compact SUV.
Another hot-selling CHERY marshal is the entry-level Tiggo 2, which comprises close to one-third (33%) of total CHERY Tiggo sales. Costing less than many hatchbacks and subcompact sedans, the Tiggo 2 presents a compelling proposition with its SUV space and versatility at a price that starts at P695,000. The Tiggo 2 is also available in unique two-tone finishes and comes in manual and automatic versions.

Unlike most car brands that raised prices due to the new safeguard duties, CHERY Auto Philippines has retained the old prices all through March and April. The brand is further sweetening the offer with irresistible cash discounts on all CHERY Tiggo models ranging from P75,000 to P120,000.
The dealership network is growing further despite the logistical challenges of the pandemic. To date, its network has expanded to 19 full-service dealerships nationwide—unprecedented for a new brand that’s introduced only less than two years ago.
