Just in time for the Italian bike brand’s 75th founding anniversary, Autohub Group opens Vespa Mall of Asia. The new brand under Moto Filiale aims to create a community of Vespa enthusiasts uplifting the market’s Vespa experience.
That goal is highlighted through premium flagship units being sold at the new dealership, as well as introducing customer-focused efforts like VIP Membership Card and a Sunday Coffee Club for valued clients.
“The pandemic magnified the Filipino’s interest in riding motorcycles,” said Jojo Magpoc, one of the co-directors of Moto Filiale. “We saw the opportunity for this market to expand seeing that a lot of us really became outdoor people during the pandemic, weekend rides for motorcycle groups are getting more popular and SM Mall of Asia is really one of the more popular destinations for these groups. So it made sense to open a branch here so these enthusiasts can have a place to meet and hang out,” he added.
The new VIP Membership Card entitles cardholders to perks and discounts for parts and services, exclusively availed at Vespa Mall of Asia. Buyers who will buy from this branch are automatically part of the VIP Club. Those who have existing Vespas, on the other hand, need to accumulate at least P10,000 worth of purchase of the branch’s services, parts, and accessories to get a VIP card.
“Benefits include up to 10% discount on parts and accessories and up to 15 percent discount on services here at Vespa Mall of Asia,” added Alex Ching, co-director of Moto Filiale.
Apart from the VIP Membership Card, Moto Filiale also announced the launch of the Vespa Mall of Asia Sunday Coffee Club, which is set to happen in January 2022.
Bon Ramos, Moto Filiale co-director, said that the idea of the Vespa Mall of Asia Sunday Coffee Club is simple. Those who will ride to the Vespa Mall of Asia using their Vespa scooters will be entitled to free coffee. They will also get to chat with other Vespa owners to socialize and to share some tips when it comes to Vespa ownership.
“That’s the vision that we have for Vespa Mall of Asia, aside from us carrying and selling Vespa units, we also want to give our customers the full package starting with outstanding after-sales support, introducing them to the Vespa community, and providing them with the ultimate Vespa experience,” Ramos added.
Vespa scooters are well-loved in the country. The Italian bike has amassed a strong following recently, with a range of products that start from 125cc to 300cc. For the brand’s 75th anniversary, Vespa Philippines launched a new edition of Vespa GTS in 300cc and the Vespa Primavera series in both 150cc and 300cc.
The new Vespa Mall of Asia is located at SP 110-111, South Parking, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. For inquiries and reservations, customers can contact (0917) 126 8761.
