Toyota brings the new Rush GR-S to the Auto Focus Test Drive Festival

Toyota is joining the Auto Focus Test Drive Festival with a handful of cars from their 20-name lineup. Their latest cars will be there along with a new offering in the form of the Rush GR-S. You can see and drive it at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds until Sunday, May 29.

The Toyota Rush GR-S has not been officially launched yet so details are still scarce as to its specs. However, there’s no question it will receive aesthetic appointments the same way the other cars did when they were given the GR-S badge. It will be accompanied by other GR-S-badge-wearing SUVs, namely the Fortuner and Corolla Cross, the latter of which is also a hybrid.

In addition to the Corolla Cross, the RAV 4 HEV will also be present in the test drive event. Both have the Toyota Safety Sense suite that include a Pre-Collision System, Automatic High-Beam, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

Toyota’s smallest crossover, the Raize, will also be present with both G and Turbo variants in tow. So for those who are curious which among the variants is better—the 1.2 engine or the 1.0 turbo, you should not miss out on this chance to compare the two.

Those looking for an affordable family car will also have the Avanza and Veloz to try out. The Avanza now sits on a new global platform and boasts a much more pleasant riding comfort compared to its previous iteration. Meanwhile, the Veloz is now out of the shadow of the Avanza and sits as a standalone model, though the two share the same 1.5-liter engine. What sets the Veloz apart is its exterior appointments and availability of Toyota Safety Sense for its top trim.

The Auto Focus Test Drive Festival is presented by Motul and will be held at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds until Sunday, May 29.
