The 2022 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival, one of the country’s largest multi-brand test drive events, is back after two long years of absence. Customers are treated to four days of free test drive opportunities, giving them the ability to cross-shop between cars from different brands before signing on the dotted line.
“With the cooperation and support of participating automotive companies, the Sunshine Television assures the public that all health protocols mandated by local and national authorities will be observed while car companies are also providing knowledgeable sales assistants to provide full information on their vehicles,” said Ray Butch Gamboa, Sunshine Television Chairman and CEO.
One of the participants this year is Isuzu Philippines. With a refreshed lineup of tough, diesel-powered workhorses, the Japanese automaker wants its would-be customers to experience its vehicles and see what separates them from the competition.
For this year’s event, Isuzu Philippines is bringing in the Isuzu D-Max, which is among the automaker’s bread and butter in the range. Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 variants, customers may choose to get behind any of the D-Max test vehicles and see the updates it received as a new-generation model.
Meanwhile, the likewise revamped new-generation Isuzu mu-X is also making attendance at the four-day test drive event. Also available in both 4×2 and 4×4 flavors, the truck-based midsize SUV wants to wow probable customers with its refined interior and powerful mill – both essential to the nameplate’s popularity among Filipino SUV shoppers.
Isuzu PH is also letting attendees test its Traviz commercial vehicle. The Indonesian-made Traviz is one of the top choices among small and medium enterprises for its reliable diesel engine and various body configurations.
The 2022 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival, presented by Motul, is happening on May 26-29, 2022 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Participating brands include Changan, GAC, Geely, Isuzu, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota. Admission is free.
