Asian Federation of EV Associations visit Hyundai Motorstudio

The Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (AFEVA) recently visited the Hyundai Motorstudio in South Korea in preparation for the upcoming EV Summit organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP). The visit was led by AFEVA President Edmund Araga and included directors Rommel Juan and Dennis Chuah, as well as Patrick Aquino of the Department of Energy. Hyundai Motors Philippines President Eric Lee was also present during the visit.

The purpose of the visit was to explore the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology and to learn about Hyundai’s plans for the future of sustainable transportation. During the visit, the group had the opportunity to view some of Hyundai’s newest electric vehicles, including the Ioniq 5 and the Kona Electric.

The AFEVA delegation was impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities at the Hyundai Motorstudio and the level of innovation demonstrated in Hyundai’s electric vehicles. They also expressed their admiration for the company’s dedication to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable transportation.

The visit by AFEVA to the Hyundai Motorstudio is in preparation for the upcoming EV Summit organized by EVAP, which will be held in the Philippines on October 19-21, 2023, at the SMX Convention Center. The summit aims to bring together key players in the electric vehicle industry to discuss the latest advancements in electric mobility and to promote sustainable transportation in the Philippines and the rest of Asia.

The EV Summit is a much-anticipated event that will provide a platform for experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to share insights and ideas on how to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Asia.
