Mitsubishi Motors Philippines showcases the Mitsubishi XFC Concept, teases upcoming compact 5-seater SUV

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) showcased the Mitsubishi XFC Concept at Newport Mall.

Following the World Premiere of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept last October 2022 in Vietnam, MMPC displayed for the first time the Mitsubishi XFC Concept, a compact 5-seater SUV concept car, at Newport Mall last June 16 to 18, 2023. A special launch program was held for members of the media on June 17, 2023 where design concept and future plans for the Mitsubishi XFC Concept were discussed. With the goal of further improving MMPC’s product line-up for Filipino customers, the Mitsubishi XFC Concept will be the basis of the upcoming new compact 5-seater SUV that MMPC will introduce to the market soon.

This next-generation compact SUV design concept highlights a powerful and imposing design for a sleek and sporty profile. Mitsubishi’s iconic Dynamic Shield concept was integrated to the new exterior to create yet another unique design that expresses both performance and protection. Built with high ground clearance, the Mitsubishi XFC Concept also exudes vigor and toughness on any type of road. Its interior offers ease of operation and comfort with its horizontally themed design instrumental panel. Despite being a compact SUV, the design comes with a spacious cabin area and ample cargo space providing first-class comfort and convenience to both driver and passengers.

The Mitsubishi XFC Concept is just one of the many upcoming products that MMPC will introduce to the Philippines market in the coming years. As MMPC President & CEO Takeshi Hara mentioned, “Today, we are excited to share and showcase the concept design that will define the future of the Mitsubishi Motors brand. And to further beef up our product line-up, we are introducing five new models in the next five years.”
