Bonifacio Global City is once again celebrating Bonifacio Day with vibrance and activities at the 2023 BGC Passionfest this November 25-26, 2023. Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) is co-presenting this event that’s hinged on culture, sports, food, games, and art. It spans across the large area of 5th-11th avenue, and Lane P to 28th street. The event is adopting a ‘Glocal’ theme for this year to promote the colorful and diverse characteristics of ‘BGCitizens.’
HMPH is letting attendees test drive their lineup at 5th Ave. during the BGC Passionfest. Present there are the recently launched Custin and Stargazer, even their award-winning EVs – the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6. Joining those are the Creta, Tucson, and Staria.
They also set up shop at 30th Street East Open Parking Lot for a ‘Grand Before Service Activity’. All car owners regardless of brand can go there to have their vehicle get a free 23-point checkup with vehicle disinfection courtesy of Backtakleen. There’s also a PHP 500 voucher from Shell and a limited-edition Hyundai branded tumbler.
“We are looking forward to this opportunity to be supporting BGC with the resumption of its annual Passionfest. As part of the world’s third-largest automaker, we make it a point to search for ways on how we can better connect with our market. And this fiesta right here, at our local home in BGC, is an opportune way to converse and get to know more about our Filipino customers. Because at the end of the day, we will really only be able to impart our vision of progress for humanity, once we are immersed unto the community whom we wish to serve and provide innovative mobility solutions to,” said Dongwook Lee, President of HMPH.
Other activities during this weekend are Pickleball Open Play at 31st street, BGC Hoops Finals at Nike Courtyard, Year-End Yard Sale at De Jesus Oval, Hark: Holiday Art Bazaar at Alveo Central Plaza, and interactive exhibits at the Canopy Plaza of The Mind Museum.
There’s also a Passion Parade on opening day from 4PM to 6PM consisting of Hyundai cars. The convoy will start at 9th Ave. until 5th Ave. It will be followed by a Music Festival that will run from 7PM to 9PM featuring DJ Honeys and The Diegos.
