Mercedes-Benz and Fuso inaugurate first joint truck dealership in PH

We’ve seen dealerships beside each other before (hello EDSA Greenhills and other automotive rows). This is more prominent in the provinces where dealer groups build their brand showrooms in one compound to make it easier for the customers to browse in the metal.

Inchcape Philippines, under their iCATS Motor Inc operations and Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation took that to the next level by creating the first joint dealership in the country. What that means is that the trucks of Mercedes-Benz and Fuso can be bought and serviced under the same roof. The 1,035sqm facility is located at 45 Mindanao Ave, corner Alley 15, around 2km ahead of the NLEX – Mindanao Ave exit making it accessible to operators and business owners.

“This partnership between Inchcape and Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation signify a strengthened commitment to powering better mobility in country, bringing market high quality and durable products to allow access and growth for the people, community, and businesses,” said Alex Hammett, Managing Director of South Asia & Pacific, Inchcape plc.

Yosuke Nishi, President and CEO of Sojitz Fuso Philippines, added that “This partnership will enable us to expand our connections and opportunities, ultimately improving our vehicle sales and after-sales support. The customer’s experience is important to us as we provide trucks they can trust and quality service as we drive to the future, together.”

The dealership can exhibit up to 6 light and heavy-duty trucks. Aside from sales, the joint dealership is equipped with special tools and working bays that can accommodate light to heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

Also announced was the appointment of Alpine Motors Corporation (a Mitsubishi and Fuso dealer) in Carmona, Cavite as the first Daimler Multi-brand Truck Dealer in Luzon. Their 1,957sqm facility is now also home to Mercedes-Benz trucks for sales, service, and spare parts. It has a huge display area and two dedicated workbays for the commercial vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz and Fuso are both under the Daimler Truck umbrella and their joint presence in the country only signifies their strength and commitment to customers in the country.
