In an exclusive sneak peek on April 24, Gogoro Pulse, the world’s first hyper electric scooter, was unveiled at the Gogoro Experience Center in Greenbelt, Makati City, giving Globe Platinum customers a first glimpse into state-of-the-art Gogoro Smartscooters®.

Gogoro is Globe’s debut in climate tech. The company envisions the two-wheel EV to contribute to reducing carbon emissions as more and more gas-fed cars cram Philippine roads. An average gasoline-powered car emits an estimated 4.6 metric tons of carbon per year, according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
A three-month pilot test among 60 Globe employees last year resulted in 3,316 kg of carbon emissions avoided over a total travel distance of 42,399 km ridden. This amounts to removing harmful CO2 equivalent to consuming roughly 1,412 liters of gasoline, helping curb pollution in the crowded metropolis while also saving on fuel costs as petroleum prices continue to rise.

Gogoro Smartscooters® utilize revolutionary battery-swapping technology, enabling riders to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones quickly via the GoStation Network. Since debuting in December 2023, Gogoro has established seven GoStations across Metro Manila and continues to expand its battery-swapping network.
Offered in eye-catching White, Silver, and Grey, the Gogoro Pulse Ultra can only be availed through reservation. Prices start at Php450,000, with financing plans to be rolled out soon. Gogoro offers two energy plans: Plan 799, which allows for up to 420 kms per month, and Plan 999, covering up to 700 kms monthly.
