Porsche Achieves Dual Triumphs in J.D. Power 2024 APEAL and Initial Quality Studies

Porsche has achieved exceptional results in the 2024 J.D. Power studies, securing top positions in both the Initial Quality Study (IQS) and the Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study. The brand has been named the leading premium brand in overall initial quality and has also been recognized as the most appealing premium brand.

In the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, Porsche scored 891 out of 1,000 points, surpassing the premium brand average of 870. The Porsche 911 achieved the highest score within the portfolio at 903, and the Taycan was awarded the best-in-class title in the Upper Mid-Size Premium Segment for the second consecutive year.

Additionally, Porsche topped the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) in the premium segment. The IQS, which surveys around 100,000 new car owners in the U.S. regarding 227 potential quality issues across ten categories, reflects Porsche’s commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles with outstanding initial performance.
