Ford Philippines inaugurates their biggest Parts Distribution Center in Calamba, Laguna

All the marketing hype in the world cannot make up for a lousy after-sales service. Word of mouth spreads quickly, more so in social media, which is why bolstering the back-end of your brand is just as crucial as launching the latest cars.

This is why Ford and their longtime global partner DB Schenker is proud to announce their new Parts Distribution Center in Calamba, Laguna. It’s in a strategic location that’s near Maharlika Highway and less than four kilometers away from the nearest toll exit.

The massive facility is over 13,000 sqm in size and can stock around 100,000 parts of all sizes. From Preventive Maintenance Service parts like oil filters, to more serious parts like bumpers, headlights, and even a full chassis are housed in this new warehouse facility.

DB Schenker made use of modern building and racking infrastructures in making the facility as efficient as possible. Most commonly used parts are also at eye level and below for easy retrieval, while machines are placed at key areas for quick utilization when needed.

There are four inbound and four outbound docks in the facility to cater both importation of supplies and sending them out locally. No waiting time if ever the supply and request trucks arrive at the same time.

Ford says they can deliver to Metro Manila and nearby areas on the same day when needed, while others in far Luzon are assured of next day delivery. Aside from DB Schenker, Ford has partnered with 2Go Group for deliveries in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.

The new Parts Distribution Center will certainly enhance the ownership experience of Ford vehicle owners nationwide.
