Several people are believed to have been injured in a vehicular accident on the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) on Thursday morning.
In a dashcam video posted by Maria Meredith Lynn Nicart-Sabularse on Facebook, a white sport utility vehicle (SUV) can be seen making its way towards the Pozzorubio Exit of TPLEX. A few seconds later, a speeding black van suddenly appeared behind the SUV as it passed through the exit lane.
The accident occurred when the black van suddenly crashed against the orange barriers of the exit lane before colliding with the SUV. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to roll over before it landed near the expressway’s center island.
“Posting this video caught by our dash cam (audio was removed) hoping it well help in the investigation. Praying for all the passengers, hopefully there were no serious injuries,” Sabularse said.
“We saw bloodied faces but we think they were all conscious after everything settled,” she added.
Authorities have yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
