Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), local marketer of the Caltex brand, recently partnered with MVP Rewards and Loyalty Solutions, Inc. for a program to provide a range of benefits to loyal customers of the fuel retailer.
For starters, MVP Rewards members can earn a P1 rebate for every five liters (with a maximum of 60 liters allowed per purchase) of Platinum with Techron, Silver with Techron, or Diesel with Techron D bought at any of the 600-strong Caltex stations nationwide. This is credited to their rewards card powered by online payment service PayMaya.
The MVP Rewards privilege is exclusive to customers of PLDT, Smart, Sun, TNT, Cignal, and Bayad Center, who can earn points whenever they pay their bills, load up, and more.
“This is… a great opportunity for us to extend our service and our coverage to our customers,” said CPI country chairman Louie Zhang in a speech at the program’s official launch in Makati City. “Caltex gas always aspires to be the best brand and… we constantly innovate customer rewards to create more value to our consumers. We thank Filipino consumers who put their trust and hard-earned money in us, and for their continued patronage of our products.”
The partnership with MVP Rewards enables Caltex to “complete a circle of rewards around their loyal customers.”
Meanwhile, in his own speech, MVP Rewards and Loyalty Solutions, Inc. director and head of Enterprise Business for PLDT and Smart Jovy Hernandez expressed, “We have taken what’s best across industries and put them in one powerful program – leveraging on the PLDT group that has the unique ability to provide this level of convergence owing the breadth of our combined services.”
People interested to be MVP Rewards members can log on to www.mvprewards.ph/signup, and can enroll PLDT, Smart, Sun, TNT, and Cignal accounts to enjoy points, rebates, and more. PLDT, Smart Stores, and Bayad Centers also accept signups and issue rewards cards.
