To be honest, your online motoring portal has been up for a while already, but we made it official last Monday with a launch/lunch (I like how that sounds) event at the Versus Barcade in Uptown Parade, Bonifacio Global City.

The affair was also an occasion to introduce the rebranded motoring section of Business World — now called Velocity. Both Velocity and Wheels (The Philippine STAR) are helmed by Manny de los Reyes.

Manny will be in charge of the Wheels franchise of The STAR, which is now a multi-platform ecosystem of everything motoring/mobility — the very first and only one of its kind in the country. Yours truly will be the Wheels.ph editor, and I’m joined full-time by our resourceful, prolific staff writer, Christian Imperio.

With Manny (right) and Kap (center) are (from left) Wheels.ph staff writer Christian Imperio, with columnists Wee Gamboa and Angel Rivero. Not in photo are other columnists Ulysses Ang, Atty. Karen Jimeno, and Matteo Guidicelli.

Do check out our “About us” portion here: https://wheels.ph/about/ to check out our stable of writers.

To our dear friends to made it to the launch, thank you!

And to you, dear reader, welcome to Wheels.ph! We’re here to serve you.
