Ford Philippines recognized for class-leading vehicles, CSR programs

Ford Philippines received a string of citations for its class-leading vehicles and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs from prestigious media-led award-giving bodies.

The Ford Ranger Raptor and Ford Everest have once again proven they are among the leaders in their respective segments after winning in the 16th C! Awards by local motoring news outlet C! Magazine. Winners were determined by the editorial team composed of well-respected automotive journalists and editors.

The Ranger Raptor won Best Pick-up for the second consecutive year, proving its dominance in the country’s pick-up segment. On the other hand, the Ford Everest was awarded as Best Mid-sized SUV as it continues to be one of the formidable players in the segment. In 2019, the Ford Everest won as Best Mid-sized Ladder Frame SUV.

Meanwhile, the Ford Ranger won Best in Design and Best in Safety Features for the pick-up category in the 2020-2021 Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards. The Ford Mustang took home the Standard Sports Car of the Year award in the 2020-2021 Auto Focus People’s Choice Awards (Models of the Year).

Recognized for social responsibility

Ford Philippines was also recognized for its CSR programs at the 4th Driven to Serve Awards by the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists (SPMJ), which honors automotive companies and their commitment to make a difference in the communities they serve. Ford has been a consistent award recipient for the past four years.

In the Education category, the Ford Automotive Technician Scholarship Program received a Gold award. Ford Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) was also bestowed a Gold award under the Road Safety category. In the community development category, the Building Healthy Communities Medical and Dental Mission program received a Silver award.
