Toyota PH is launching the all-new Wigo next week, starts at PHP 609,000

Toyota Motor Philippines just opened the reservation books for the all-new Wigo. It will be launched next week, July 14 at the Trinoma Activity Center and will stay there until the 16th. Official retail sales will then commence from the 17th onwards.

Full features and specifications remain to be seen but so far in Toyota’s website, they’ve already posted the page for the all-new Wigo, sans the spec sheet. What we can see is aside from the utilization of the CVT, the engine remains the same at 1.0L that makes 67 SP ant 89 Nm of torque.

It will also have stability control and hill start assist, while the interior gets an 8-inch touchscreen and a push start button for the ignition.

What’s surprising is the Wigo now doesn’t have a kitted trim. The top of the line is the G CVT while the entry model is the J M/T – the only variant with three pedals. I guess they’ll see it out first if there will be enough interest for the more handsome GR-Sport trim that’s available in other markets.

As for pricing, the all-new Wigo now starts at PHP 609,000 for the J M/T, PHP 684,000 for the E CVT, while the top of the line G CVT is at PHP 729,000 or PHP 24,000 more expensive than the former TRD-S. Available colors right now are Orange Metallic, Yellow, and Silver Metallic. You may now reserve for your own Wigo in Toyota dealers nationwide.
