Nissan’s first hybrid crossover follows its bigger brother Terra SUV in adapting a sleek new look. The Nissan Kicks is now available in an e-POWER Sport package that flaunts a mostly blacked out look.
This limited edition trim builds on the mid-grade Kicks VE variant. It’s the only one that will come with black body color, and features silver accents on the front bumper, side skirt, rear bumper, and spoiler. It will be priced at PHP 1,429,000 (PHP 90,000 more than normal VE) and is limited to 150 units nationwide as a dealer option.
Standard amenities include Full LED headlights, Zero Gravity Seats, 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and Intelligent Key System.
Speaking of, it of course comes with Nissan Intelligent Mobility. The Kicks VE and this e-POWER Sport Edition will have Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Emergency Braking, Driver Attention Alert, Hill Start Assist, and e-Pedal Step.
Just in case you’ve forgotten, the Nissan Kicks is a hybrid crossover that’s purely run by the electric motors. That’s because its 1.2-liter engine is only there to charge the batteries. What propels the wheels is the electric motor that has an output of 136PS and 280 Nm of torque.
“Today, we are thrilled to introduce the Nissan Kicks e-POWER Sport to the Philippines, a testament to our commitment to delivering innovation and excitement to our valued customers. This limited edition model represents the fusion of exclusivity, sportiness, and advanced technology that defines Nissan’s vision for the future of mobility in the country” said Juan Manuel Hoyos, President of Nissan Philippines.
