Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) re-opened its selected dealerships and service centers after several areas were placed under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) and general community quarantine (GCQ) status.

Taking into consideration the utmost safety of its customers and employees, MMPC said that it will be implementing various precautionary measures in relation to the policies issued by the Department of Health (DOH) and the national and local government.

The company said that dealerships will ensure that its entire work area especially those that are often utilized are regularly sanitized. It said that frequent and consistent cleaning of showroom cars will be observed to assure customers of a safe vehicle walk through experience. It added that dealers are mandated to do a temperature check of all employees and guests prior to entering the establishment. Also implemented is a “No Mask, No Entry” policy. The layout of the showroom will be revised to better suit the social distancing regulation.

Apart from that, MMPC said that it will maximize the use of various online/digital platform to lessen physical interactions.

MMPC President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri shared, “Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is one with the Philippine government in flattening the curve. We are committed to take all necessary precautions to prioritize the safety and convenience of our clients. Our dealerships are equipped with guidelines and protocols to observe all health and safety mandatories.”

For customers with warranty expiring within the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) period, MMPC has given an extension up to June 30, 2020 and for all its customers with vehicles due for its regular periodic maintenance (PMS) schedule, they can have their cars serviced until 30 days from the official lifting of ECQ without voiding their warranty.
