BMW PH opens country’s largest Motorrad showroom

With the recent inauguration of Motor Ace BMW in Cavite, SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp., the official importer and distributor of BMW cars and motorcycles in the country, formally opened another Motorrad dealership to the public last October 10 – effectively the largest showroom of its kind in the country. The BMW Motorrad dealership, under RSA Motors, is the first standalone facility of its kind in the metropolis.

Located in the heart of Quezon City in Libis, the newest showroom for BMW motorcycles also integrates the company’s latest corporate identity in terms of look and feel.

BMW Motorrad is the motorcycle division of BMW boasting various lines – from urban mobility, scooters, adventure bikes, sport bikes, roadsters, to a heritage line. All told, the brand carries 27 variants.

On the same night, the BMW S1000 RR or Double R was introduced to hundreds of enthusiastic BMW customers. So-called BMW lifestyle owners consist of numerous bike groups, celebrities, and influencers. The all-new S100RR generates 207hp and 113Nm of torque. The electronics suite consists of ABS Pro, dynamic traction control, and pit lane limiter. There are also four riding modes to choose from: Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race, as well as three additional Pro modes, which can be customized by the rider.

The Double R is BMW’s newest version of the sport bike that boasts a whopping 200hp on a 200-kilo skeleton on two wheels. The S1000RR also marks the arrival of the first BMW motorcycle with an “M” package, featuring M carbon fiber wheels, M lightweight battery, M sport seat, and M chassis kit.

The main floor of the 775-square meter facility will showcase officially licensed BMW Motorrad lifestyle items, as well as BMW riding gear. The newest BMW Motorrad facility proffers a complete BMW experience for new customers and existing owners alike with a comprehensive service area offering five bays where customers can drop off their bikes for routine check up and maintenance.

There will also be two dedicated customization bays to highlight the brand’s wide range of accessories to customers who want to customize their BMW bikes. The concept of the entire showroom is focused on providing not just a place for BMW products, but also a venue for BMW customers who share the same passion for motorbikes and the riding lifestyle as a whole. It is a second home for anyone who lives and breathes the two-wheeled lifestyle.

The latest BMW Motorrad dealership is located at 184 Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
