TCCCI celebrates 11 years of Chevrolet and 2 years of MG in Phl

Last Tuesday, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) — the exclusive importer and distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in the country – proudly celebrated a major company milestone: championing the Bowtie brand in the Philippines for 11 delightful years.

TCCCI was entrusted to manage the local Chevrolet business by General Motors Southeast Asia Operations; and has since grown 23 dealerships in the Philippines — seven within Metro Manila and 16 across the rest of the country. Among Chevy’s locally available models are the U.S.-sourced Suburban, Tahoe, Camaro and Corvette. And largely known for their practicality are the Asia-sourced Colorado, Trailblazer, Trax Premier and Spark.

“We are immensely grateful for the continued confidence of the Filipino market in Chavrolet,” shared TCCCI’s soft-spoken President and CEO, Atty. Albert Arcilla during an online celebration with the media. “It is their love for Chevy that drives us to constantly find new ways to deliver innovative and committed customer service, and bring global and iconic Chevrolet nameplates to Philippine roads,” he expounded.

Chevrolet Philippines also hinted on five exciting new models arriving in the country this 2021 — among them, the all-new Suburban, Tahoe, and the eighth-generation Corvette!

For now, Chevy has an ongoing ‘Ride to a Fresh Start’ promo, which highlights all-in, affordable down-payment offers as low as Php38,000. Models such as the Colorado, Trailblazer, Trax Premier, Spark, Sail and Malibu qualify for special zero-interest plans.

Atty. Arcilla also highlighted Chevy’s Complete Care program, which is basically the company’s special after-sales service support extended to all its customers – which includes a five-year warranty, access to the 24/7 Chevy Hotline, and 24/7 Roadside Assistance.

And this coming November, Chevy will also be launching its new ‘Shop. Click. Drive.’ portal, which will allow customers to shop and purchase Chevy vehicles without having to leave their homes.

“Chevrolet is a brand driven by great resolve and boundless optimism,” expressed a very positive Atty. Arcilla. Furthering that, “While we continue to navigate through unprecedented market conditions, we are determined to strengthen our product portfolio and fuel the brand’s potential for renewed business growth in the local automotive scene.”

Alongside Chevrolet Philippines’ 11th year anniversary, TCCCI was also very happy to celebrate MG Philippines’ two very successful years in the country. While many like to playfully refer to MG as ‘Maganda’t Gwapo’ or ‘May Garahe,’ MG or Morris Garages remains to uphold the proud British heritage of its products. And as a matter of fact, while auto sales have been low in this pandemic, MG has been fortunate because its lineup of local vehicles happens to belong to the segments that have been growing in this difficult time. The MG5 has always been a critical product for the brand, and the ZS has also been received with much enthusiasm from the public. MG has also committed to operate a total of 34 dealerships around the country (it currently has 28 dealerships), despite COVID-related challenges, by the end of 2020.

When asked about the secret to their new brand’s huge success, Atty. Arcilla simply reveals that “We have decided to focus on the ownership experience.”

MG’s online selling platform, BuyAnMG.com, will soon be available to customers who would rather not leave their homes, but are interested in buying a new MG vehicle. For those who have purchased an MG vehicle, they get one-year free PMS for their car, a five-year (or 100,000km, whichever comes first) vehicle warranty, MG Live Chat support services, and the option to avail of MG’s Mobile Garage, which is basically a type of home repair service where the technicians come over to work on your car.
