NIA to use Mitsubishi Strada units for field operations

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines and their dealer partner Citimotors, Makati officially turned over 95 Mitsubishi Strada fleet units ordered by the National Irrigation Administration (NIA). The acquired pick-up trucks will be utilized as service vehicles of NIA officers that are tasked to monitor and evaluate the status of on-going projects and maintenance activities. Due to the tough terrains that the officers often encounter, a durable and reliable pick-up truck is much needed.

“The acquisition of new vehicles is part of the of the modernization program of NIA. With our newly purchased trucks, we are confident that we will be able to achieve better efficiency and improve our service to the country,” said Gen. Ricardo R. Visaya, NIA Administrator

The turnover ceremony was well attended by top officials of NIA, Citimotors Makati and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation.
