Suzuki welcomes second half of 2021 as 3rd best-selling brand in PH automotive industry

Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH), the country’s pioneer compact car distributor, welcomes the month of July and breaks into the second half of the year with exciting good news.

SPH announces its foray into the top 3 spot of the Philippine Automotive Industry, a breakthrough in Suzuki Philippine’s performance history.

Most recent industry data showed Suzuki’s continued growth in sales over the past year, despite the difficulties and obstacles experienced by the Philippine Economy during this ongoing global pandemic.

Helping Suzuki land the top 3 are the crowd’s favourite Suzuki models. Leading the front line of Suzuki’s automobile sales for the 1st half of this year are the ever-reliable Suzuki Carry contributing 19.9% in Suzuki’s sales, the stylish yet practical Suzuki Ertiga (19.6%), and the desirable Suzuki Dzire (18.4%). Sales for these 3 models accounted for more than half (58%) of Suzuki’s total automobile sales.

“Suzuki’s continued growth is a testament of our brand’s mission of expanding our reach for more people to experience what the Suzuki Way of Life! is all about,” Vice President and General Manager for Suzuki Automobile, Mr. Keiichi Suzuki shares, “SPH shall continue in its pursuit of finding avenues to provide Filipinos with the best quality driving experience that only Suzuki can provide.”

Loyal customers and patrons of the brand can continue to expect the same and more from Suzuki for the second half of 2021. Some things to look forward to are exciting promos like this July’s Ride Your Dream promo (where budding customers can enjoy big discounts of as much as Php 90,000 depending on the model and variant), the eventual physical return of the popular Auto Festival Event in select malls nationwide, several more dealership openings across the country, and of course, the continuous improvement and ingenuity of Suzuki’s vast array of products.
