Volvo Philippines (Volvo PH) has earned its safety seal certification from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
In a statement, the company said that the certification “reinforces Volvo’s commitment to ensuring that health and safety protocols are strictly observed in and around the company premises.”
Known for safety worldwide, the Swedish car company headquarters in Makati, Philippines is now a certified safe spot for those who would like to visit their showroom and service center. It’s also an effort to assure their valued clients that they can confidently and safely see and test drive the dynamic range of Volvos available.
In cooperation with the government’s efforts to strengthen its efforts in curbing the coronavirus pandemic, Volvo PH subjected itself to a voluntary certification program in compliance with public health standards. This move also aims to assist in the contract tracing efforts of StaySafe.ph.
Safety first at Volvo PH
Through Volvo Concierge, Volvo PH is the first automotive luxury company to create a client-focused program that readily provided technical assistance online when the pandemic first hit. In addition, the showroom and service center has also undergone a transformation to adapt to the new normal.
“We want our customers to feel that legendary care for people that Volvo is known for through the service and structural changes that we have taken. With the Safety Seal certification, we want our clients to feel even safer when they come over for a visit,” Volvo Marketing Head, Christopher L. Yu said.
The safety seal certification came at a most opportune time since Volvo now opens its doors for enthusiasts to see the exciting range of Volvos on display, such as the Volvo XC40, XC60, and XC90 SUVs and the stately Volvo S90 sedan.
It’s also the best time to shop for a Volvo as the Swedish marque launches its Seasons of Savings offer. Get up to a million pesos worth of savings on select S90 and XC90 Plug-in Hybrid models, and get ready to enjoy a safe and exciting drive.
